at 6 A.M. passed Baker’s Island—10 AM. Saluted the Town with seven Guns . . . Came to anchor . . . the Capt went on shore in a shore boat. At 1/2 past 11 the Revenue Boat came on board and left an officer.—12 P.M. the first & second officers went on shore with 10 of the people. Cleared up the decks.”
